Citizen Quartz Oval Gold-Tone – Black Dial | 1997

A sleek and dramatically minimal Citizen with an oval case, jet black dial, and slim gold hands — no hour markers, no numerals, just negative space and quiet confidence. The panther-style gold-tone bracelet flows directly into the case for a seamless, sculptural look that was very much of its moment in the late 1990s.
At roughly 14mm across the oval case, this is about as petite and delicate as a watch gets. It’s a statement piece in the subtlest possible way — the kind of thing that disappears into an outfit while still being noticed.
This watch is sold as-is and priced to reflect its condition. The crystal has heavy, pervasive scratching across the entire surface, and the dial beneath shows signs of wear as well.
